If you are struggling

Sometimes it feels like we are alone but there are lots of ways to access support. You can speak to your GP. There are also many different people and organisations who can help you by offering a safe place to talk, that is free from judgement. See our poster for more information.

Children and Young People

Stigma Free Lanarkshire have developed this poster to offer children and young people some NHS approved sources of further support. This poster is handy to have at the ready when having a conversation with a child or young person.

NHS 24

Phone NHS 24 on 111 if you’re:

  • feeling distressed
  • in a state of despair
  • suicidal
  • in need of emotional support

This app contains information on each of the eight Well Connected areas and how to easily access the opportunities.

Lanarkshire Mind Matters

Mind Matters is run by NHS Lanarkshire Adult Psychological Services. It aims to link you with mental health information, advice and help, wherever you live in Lanarkshire. You can access online courses and self-help tools.

Helping someone you are worried about

If you are worried about someone you can call the numbers below.
If someone is struggling with their mental health it is advised that they visit their GP. Alternatively you can contact NHS24.
