Lanarkshire schools pilot project
Five Lanarkshire schools have now completed the first phase of an exciting pilot programme to tackle stigma and improve mental health for young people. Stigma Free Lanarkshire and See Me Scotland have joined forces to take a whole school approach, ensuring everyone in the school community (such as pupils, teachers, catering and cleaning staff, parents etc.) are included in promoting mental health and wellbeing, as well as tackling stigma.
The schools taking part are Cardinal Newman High School, Coltness High School, Holy Cross High School, Lanark Grammar, and Strathaven Academy.
At SFL we’re looking forward to working with the schools and See Me on the next stage of the pilot, keep an eye out for more updates!
