Get Involved
How can YOU get INVOLVED in planning and developing mental health services in Lanarkshire?
1. Become a member of Lanarkshire Links (membership is free and you’ll get a free copy of our monthly information sheet and our quarterly magazine).
2. Meet with other service users and carers at our quarterly members meetings (they’re held in different parts of Lanarkshire so that there will always be at least one near you)
3. Attend a local mental health issues group to meet with others in your area who have an interest in developing services.
4. Shadow an existing member to one of the many different committee meetings or groups to learn more about involvement without making any commitment.
5. Choose from our information sheet which events or meetings you would like to participate in.
6. Take advantage of the training and support we can provide.
Usually travel expenses are paid and if you have other expenses e.g. replacement care costs, child care provision etc. we can negotiate support.
