Lanarkshire Links is an organisation for mental health service users and carers in Lanarkshire.

We support one another to be involved in planning, developement, monitoring and evaluation of mental health services. If you use or have used mental health services or are a carer of someone who has or is using services, you can join Lanarkshire Links. Membership is free.

Information

We provide our members with information through Mental Health Matters our FREE quarterly magazine. Join your local Mental Health issues group or your carers group, support group, our website or by e-mail.

Lanarkshire Links hosts the Lanarkshire 'See Me' Partnership this helps us to tackle the stigma associated with mental ill health. To find out more follow the link above.

Involvement

There are a variety of planning groups, committees, menatal health issues groups, reference groups, consultation events and seminars.

Lanarkshire Recovery Network

Lanarkshire Links hosts the Lanarkshire Recovery Network this enables us to promote recovery in Lanarkshire. If you have a story of recovery and hope then follow link above to share it.

Influence

By working together we have a stronger voice and by using your experiences, informing service providers, evaluating services, and working in partnership with both statutory and voluntary agencies we can make a difference.

Summer Members' Meeting 2012

Our next members meeeting takes place on Wedenesday the 6th June in the Alona Hotel Strathclyde Park.

Diverse faith communities come together and pledge to tackle stigma.

Eleven Lanarkshire faith communities have become the first in the country to unite together and publicly pledge their commitment to work with 'see me',Scotland's national campaign to tackle the stigma and discrimination of mental ill-health.
